chocolate chip cookie dough truffles

December 11, 2011

Here’s another addition to the growing family of truffles and cake balls!

These no-bake cookie dough truffles are perfectly safe and egg-free. They are so easy to throw together, and who doesn’t love cookie dough? A box of these truffles is a great idea to include in a holiday gift!

But if the cookie dough part is really all you want, and you couldn’t be bothered with the dipping, keep an eye out for an amazing cookie dough dip recipe next week 🙂

Cookie Dough Truffles

from The Village Cook

1/2 cup salted butter, salted
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
2 1/4 c flour
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Dipping chocolate, candy melts, almond bark, etc.

Combine the butter, sugar, vanilla, and sweetened condensed milk. Add the flour and chocolate chips.

Chill dough for about half hour, then roll into balls. Place balls in the freezer for 2 hours or so.

Dip the truffles in chocolate and decorate. Store in the fridge.

These look insanely delicious! My sister/co-blogger made these way back in the early days of our blog and I’ve been wanting to make them myself ever since, because I didn’t get to try any!
