cook’s illustrated perfect chocolate chip cookies

October 3, 2011

I received the most adorable little package of goodies in the mail today.

Just look at the brown and pink polka dot pattern with matching bow! Valerie of Une Gamine dans la Cuisine, you are too cute 🙂

I have never ever won any sort of giveaway… until now!

Une Gamine dans la Cuisine hosted a giveaway in honor of Pediatric Cancer Month! If you know me, you know that this is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. I’m involved with Penn State THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, which raises funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer for The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Please, please, please check it out. It is truly incredible.

For this giveaway, Une Gamine dans la Cuisine teamed up with OXO Good Cookies, a sponsor of Cookies for Kids’ with Cancer, which is a wonderful non-profit site dedicated to raising funds to support research for pediatric cancer.

These cookies are AMAZING. Cook’s Illustrated is known for perfecting classic recipes, and this is no exception. You can refer to her beautiful blog for the recipe here. Thank you so much again, Valerie! 🙂

I agree, It’s hard to go wrong with Cooks Illustrated

Wow, you’ve truly earned these cookies, I didn’t know you were so involved in such a great cause!
Congratulations and enjoy! 😀

Ohhh those look so good. I want a cookie now.

Lucky you! I actually tried that recipe over last winter break! They were really yummy! Are the ones you received soft and chewy?
Hope all is well with you! Miss ya!

I miss you too!!! It made me so happy to see your comment 🙂 Let’s catch up soon!
