A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve come to realize how truly blessed I am to have such wonderful friends and family. Things have been rough lately to say the least, but it’s the best feeling in the world to see to what great lengths your loved ones will go to be there for you. Talking to me for hours on end, listening to my fears and troubles, and distracting me with my favorite things–the love I felt was palpable, and it was overwhelming to see that they really do care about my happiness.
I can’t thank you all enough.
And how could I be anything but happy while taking a stroll down a street lined with Hershey kisses?
One of the aforementioned awesome friends of mine, AA, and I had the brilliant idea to go on a restaurant crawl for dinner one night while I’m working in Hershey. The plan was to choose three restaurants (arriving at this decision was a feat in itself) at which to have appetizers, entree, and then dessert.
The first stop was What If of Hershey.
Baked Brie with Puff Pastry, Strawberry Cream Cheese
Gorgonzola salad with Field Greens, Walnuts, Sun Dried Cranberries, Gorgonzola, Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
Next stop: Main course at the Hershey Grill
See the closest little swirl of buttery goodness? That’s chocolate butter. Only in Hershey!
AA with her Mushroom Gnocchi
The most anticipated part of our meal (at least for me): Dessert at Devon Seafood Grill
Molten lava cake with raspberries and hazelnut ice cream
